IMCEA Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy
The International Military Community Executives’ Association (IMCEA) reserves the right to refuse or revoke an IMCEA membership at the discretion of its Board of Directors.
If IMCEA refuses a new or renewing membership, the applicant will be notified in writing and offered a 100% refund.
If IMCEA revokes a current membership, there will be no refund.
The International Military Community Executives’ Association (IMCEA) does not allow for the refund of membership unless there are exceptional circumstances, which may be approved at the discretion of the IMCEA Board of Directors.
Transfer of IMCEA Membership
IMCEA Memberships are transferable when they are paid for by using unit or organization funds.
Where an error has been made by IMCEA or a banking facility which results in an overpayment being made, the Executive Director may approve either a credit of the overpayment to the membership or a payment by check for the full amount of the overpayment. Checks will be sent within 30 days to the member’s address on file.
Where a member is responsible for the overpayment, the amount will be credited to the membership.
Additional Costs Incurred During Processing of IMCEA Membership Dues
The member will be responsible for all unexpected costs incurred by the IMCEA during the processing of membership fees. Such costs include (but are not limited to) dishonored check fees or bank charges made as a result of insufficient funds or accounts having been closed.
Changes in Work Status
No facility exists to reduce membership fees during the current membership period in relation to a transfer or a change in status. In all circumstances membership will be charged at the prescribed rates. It is the responsibility of members to notify IMCEA of any changes to their membership status. In the event that this fails to happen, no refunds will be given.
Terms and Conditions of IMCEA Membership Products and Services
IMCEA policy only allows services to be provided to members in good standing. Any member of the Association who shall be delinquent in dues for a period of ninety (90) days from the time dues become due shall be notified of such delinquency and suspended from further services. If payment not made within the next succeeding thirty (30) days, the delinquent member shall be dropped from the rolls and thereupon forfeit all right and privileges of membership, unless such suspension, at the request of the member, is waived by affirmative action of the Executive Committee.
IMCEA Goods and Product Refund/Return
All returns of goods and materials purchased directly from the IMCEA website require prior authorization. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Returns must be authorized by IMCEA within 30 days of the purchase date. Within thirty (30) days of purchase, IMCEA will replace, substitute or repair, at our sole discretion, any IMCEA product that is deemed defective.
Products provided/sold by IMCEA partners and affinity programs are subject to the return policy of the partner.
Products which are software or downloadable from any IMCEA website or provided media (CD ROM, White Pages, etc.) are non-refundable.
IMCEA Event Refund/Cancellation
Event Cancellation by IMCEA
The IMCEA reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
If IMCEA cancels an event, attendees and exhibitors will be offered an immediate full refund.
Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, attendees and exhibitors will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
Registration Cancellation by Participants
Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 30 business days before the event.
Registration cancellations received by the IMCEA National Headquarters prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a $75 service fee. Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. Trade Show Exhibitors who cancel their registration may not have their company information placed in any advertising, signage or exhibit booth at the trade show.
These above policies apply to all IMCEA Events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
