IMCEA Headquarters is located in Alexandria, Virginia. With a diverse team in place around the country, the IMCEA executive staff is looking forward to providing the finest of membership and association activities through the guidance of its Board of Directors and by following their Executive Director. Meet your IMCEA 2012 Executive Team:
Arthur J. Myers
IMCEA has had a significant positive impact on our MWR/Services professionals since 1972, and I am proud to be named Executive Director. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible over the next year: at Catersource, the Armed Forces Food and Beverage Conference, and at chapter gatherings. These are challenging times for our profession. Only by working together can we continue to make that positive daily difference in the lives of the members and families we serve. My role is to support you in that endeavor. I believe we must be a membership organization for ALL MWR Community Executives. We will take measures to ensure that all MWR activities are provided the information, training and value they deserve. IMCEA Chapters are the key to building a strong foundation; we will work to establish more of these, and to increase membership and participation in existing chapters. To help increase and maintain that membership, we will enhance communication, establishing a direct line to each IMCEA member to provide pertinent and timely updates. We will increase education and training, expanding professional development opportunities for our members by working with industry organizations to provide affordable and applicable education and training venues. We will also work hard to support our sponsors, those companies and organizations that actively provide resources for our association. ALL members will have a direct line to us with any questions, advice, or assistance you may require. We want to make IMCEA even stronger and need your input in order to achieve it! Bottom line: we will bring value to IMCEA membership and reach out to ALL MWR personnel, companies and sponsors
